TransportUS Systems is a premier medical transport company. Drivers should be courteous and friendly and be able to deliver excellent customer service. Drivers must provide a current DMV printout when applying (Valid 30 days from application), must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test, pass an FBI background check and pass a physical exam.

Company website, transportus.us Full-time/Part-time positions ($18.00 - $20.00 per Hour) This position has Health and Welfare paid at $5.00 per hour paid on all hours up to 40 hours only. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Drivers are responsible for pre-inspection check on all vehicles driving making sure all wheelchairs or any other devices are tied down properly; drive clients to and from destinations in a safe manner; must be able to communicate with clients, dispatchers, and supervisors regarding concerns and/or issues.

Applicants must be familiar with using cellular phones and navigating around areas using a GPS. Ideal candidates should be self-motivated and responsible, have good communication skills, positive attitude and willing to go the extra mile.

Education

&Training: High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred but not required. Valid CPR/First Aid card is preferred but not required Valid TN driver's license – Class F. Must have a driver’s license for at least five (5) years. No more than one (1) moving violation or one (1) at fault accident in the last three (3) years.

Working Conditions: Drivers must be able to work in a fast pace environment. Driver must be able to assist clients transferring from wheelchair to chair and vice versa. Work schedule: Work hours will vary Monday-Friday and include occasional Saturdays and Sundays. Driver must be able to work extra hours and on weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements: Driver must be able to pass the physical exam, and able to lift up to 100 LBS and push and pull up to 200 LBS. Must be able to bend from the waist, pivot from waist, and be able to move from a standing position to kneeling position and back to standing.
