Water Systems Design Engineer

Lead the design of life support and water treatment systems at Monterey Bay Aquarium. Leads equipment specification and configuration process, performs engineering calculations, creates drawings and models, and interfaces with internal staff and outside consultants. Participates in relevant phases of larger departmental and organizational projects involving life support systems and other seawater systems.

Trains MBA staff on the operation and maintenance of new water systems. Coordinates research projects, stays abreast of new technologies in the field of life support engineering, and integrates findings into MBA operations. Performs other duties as required.
