Occasional Schedule The Physical Therapy Assistant administers optimal patient care by assisting the physical therapist (PT) in the planning and implementing of physical therapy treatment programs for patients as referred by physicians. To abide by the standards of ethical conduct for the physical therapy assistant and the Guide for Conduct of the Affiliate Member published by the American Physical Association (APTA). To abide by the rules and regulations as set forth by the Louisiana State Board Physical Therapy Examiners.

Qualifications

Current licensure, current temporary licensure, or eligible for licensure or grandfathered in Louisiana is required.
