Retail Store Associate

Are you passionate about horses and enjoy helping people? We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Retail Store Associate to join our team! In this role, you’ll help create a welcoming shopping experience for our customers while supporting daily store operations. You’ll share your product knowledge, assist customers in finding the right equestrian supplies, and help keep the store organized, stocked, and ready for business.

Your Daily Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and helping them find the products they need. Offer knowledgeable recommendations on equestrian products, apparel, tack, and horse care supplies. Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions accurately, and handle cash and credit card payments.

Restock merchandise, maintain organized displays, and ensure products are properly priced and presented. Assist with tagging merchandise, and putting inventory away. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor. Support promotional displays, sales initiatives, and store events. Work collaboratively with team members to meet sales goals and provide a positive customer experience.

Complete assigned daily tasks and assist with other store needs as directed by management. What We’re Looking For A strong customer-service mindset and a friendly, approachable attitude. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with customers and coworkers. An interest in sales and the ability to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.

Dependability, initiative, and a willingness to learn. Strong attention to detail when handling transactions, stocking merchandise, and completing daily tasks. The ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced retail environment.

Requirements

Equestrian experience and a basic understanding of horse-related products preferred. Previous retail or customer-service experience preferred. Must be at least 16 years of age, subject to applicable labor laws and job duties. Part-time availability, including weekends. Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with stocking and moving merchandise.
