POSITION PURPOSE The Lead Crisis Behavioral Health Peer Advocate provides direct, lived-experience-based peer support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises presenting to the hospital, while also serving as the senior peer team member responsible for day-to-day coordination, mentorship, and quality oversight of the peer support program.

This role operates within a clearly defined scope of practice: peer advocates support engagement, hope, and connection to resources.
