If you are passionate about helping students who have a desire to learn and grow in the long-term healthcare field and you have the ability to work with students from different socioeconomic and educational backgrounds, we may have a place for you in our WISH community! _______________________________ Position Summary: The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Instructor will instruct students according to the curriculum designed to assist students to build knowledge and clinical skills aimed at passing the licensing exam for Wisconsin CNA, assist students in registering for the Wisconsin State CNA licensing exam, and will be a part of a team responsible for teaching skills and/or clinical skills. _______________________________ Compensation and Benefits $38.00 - $42.00 per hour, dependent on education and experience in an RN role Benefits include: Flexible scheduling to work with your needs Early wage access Benefits vary by employment status (Full-time, Part-time, PRN) _______________________________ Key Responsibilities Teach the course curriculum as outlined by the State of Wisconsin for Nurse Assistant in a Long-Term Care Facility. Build knowledge and develop clinical skills aimed at assisting students to obtain the CNA license Maintain accurate records of all students, including but not limited to attendance records, schedules and course requirements regarding hours of instruction and content. Evaluate and document students’ progress through testing, observation, and assessment of skills attained. Communicate effectively with students, and all those affiliated with the course, including staff at clinical training facilities. Provide a stimulating environment that encourages student participation, interpersonal skills development, and concepts of good patient care. Perform all other duties as assigned by the CNA Education Coordinator _______________________________ Qualifications Registered Nurse License in Wisconsin .
