Key Account Manager - Railway

YOUR ROLE

As a Key Account Manager, you will drive drive revenue growth and market positioning for Getzner’s railway solutions in Australia. You manage Key Accounts like national rail operators, engineers and contractors. YOUR BENEFITS Competitive Compensation – Attractive, market-competitive remuneration package including base salary and performance-based bonus (details to be discussed during the recruitment process) Generous PTO & Holidays – We support work-life balance Incredible Team Culture – Join a company where collaboration, trust and a strong team spirit define our daily work Cutting-Edge Products – Be part of a company shaping the future of sustainable construction Career Growth – Individual onboarding & continuous learning Remote & Flexible Work – Work from home with travel to customers (~40%) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Execute regional sales strategy and business plans Identify and develop railway infrastructure opportunities (passenger and freight) Build and maintain a qualified project pipeline Drive conversion from specification to tender to order Influence specifications in early project phases (concept, design) Develop technical and commercial proposals with internal team Monitor market trends, competitors, and pricing Maintain CRM data, forecasts, and pipeline accuracy Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing and Operations WHAT YOU BRING 5+ years experience in B2B technical sales (railway, infrastructure, or engineered solutions) Experience in specification-driven sales and long sales cycles Strong commercial mindset and strategic thinking Ability to engage with engineers and technical stakeholders Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects High level of ownership and self-management Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%) Bachelor’s degree in Business, Civil Engineering or related field preferred Fluent in English Employment Details Location: Remote AUS Permanent employment Full-time Base Salary: AUD 140,000.
