Future About this Role We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to support business-critical data warehouse applications by ensuring the smooth functioning of daily ETL batch processes using Ab Initio and Teradata Vantage on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This role focuses on operational excellence, incident resolution, and deployment support, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high system availability and performance. What you’ll do Monitor and troubleshoot ETL batch jobs on Ab Initio and Teradata Vantage Cloud (GCP) Provide deployment support for new and enhanced applications Collaborate with development, testing, and project teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless delivery Manage and update incident and service request tickets in line with defined processes Provide on-call support for batch operations, including weekends when required Drive automation and process improvements within existing workflows Optimise performance of ETL jobs and data processes Contribute to cloud-based initiatives, including proof-of-concepts on GCP Manage GCP services such as IAM, virtual machines, and Kubernetes Who you are Experience in Ab Initio support (approximately 3 years) Working knowledge of Teradata Vantage and data warehousing Strong hands-on experience with Unix and SQL Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform Understanding of ITIL processes and service management practices (preferred) Analytical thinker with problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams Proactive approach to risk identification and resolution Comfortable working in operational environments with defined KPI Not a perfect fit?
