Summary This position is responsible for completing various Accounts Payable and Payroll tasks, including but not limited to setting up vendors, entering and coding vendor bills, working with vendors to resolve balance inquiries, employee expense reimbursements, and payroll entry and processing.

Also involved with other accounting tasks, such as bank reconciliations, credit card entries, etc. Plays key role in annual external audits and assists with process improvement. 3+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable and/or Payroll related role preferred.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. Process accurate and timely payroll for all employees and contractors, including timekeeping validation, new hires, terminations, pay changes, commissions, bonuses and deductions Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax and wage-and-hour requirements, including coordination of quarterly and annual filings with the payroll provider Reconcile payroll to the general ledger, bank accounts, and benefit invoices, and prepare payroll journal entries and accruals for month-end close Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records, support internal controls and audits, and serve as the primary contact for employee payroll inquiries Process vendor invoices accurately and on time, including verification against receiving documents, entering into the correct cost centers, and obtaining proper approvals Prepare and execute weekly payment runs via Bill.

com, while managing vendor relationships and resolving discrepancies and inquiries promptly Reconcile AP subledger and vendor statements to the general ledger, and prepare AP accruals and aging reports for month-end close Review and process employee expense reports in Concur Allocate and post recurring credit card expenses and related accruals Review timesheets to ensure all punches are in; coordinate with employee and employee’s supervisor for any missing or incorrect punches Prepare and send out monthly Franchise royalty invoices Assist in assembling documents and detail for audit requests Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
