DIRECTLY REPORTS TO: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) --- MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY: As a Strategic Finance Manager, you will serve as a key partner to the CFO and Finance team, carrying out financial analysis, business partnering, and strategic decision support across Sprout Solutions. This role combines: (a) financial modeling with commercial judgment to shape the company’s growth trajectory, capital allocation decisions, and operational performance (b) assist with corporate development (M&A) activities and special projects You will drive insights that inform executive and board-level decisions, and partner cross-functionally to translate strategy into measurable financial outcomes.

--- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial Analysis:

  • Support the maintenance of the company-wide three-statement financial model, driver-based operating model, and long-range plan
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process, quarterly reforecasts, and monthly variance analysis against plan
  • Gather implications & analyses within SaaS operating metrics
  • Prepare monthly management reports, board decks, and investor updates in partnership with the CFO
  • Support headcount and capacity planning in partnership with functional leaders Business Partnering & Decision Support:
  • Build ad-hoc financial models and business cases to evaluate strategic initiatives, including new products, geographies, and build vs. buy vs. partner decisions
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on cohort performance, customer profitability, churn drivers, and product-level P&Ls
  • Translate complex financial analyses into clear recommendations and executive-ready narratives for C-suite decision-making
  • Support GTM leaders (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) on pipeline analysis, pricing, sales compensation modeling, and unit economics
  • Support Product and Engineering leaders with investment prioritization, ROI analysis, and business cases for new products and features Capital & Performance Management:
  • Develop cash flow forecasts and working capital models to inform capital allocation decisions
  • Support fundraising, investor relations, and relevant equity & debt financing activities, including data room preparation and diligence responses
  • Design and maintain executive dashboards and KPI reporting to track performance against strategic and financial targets Corporate Development (M&A) / Special Projects
  • Assist in financial due diligence and coordinate post-merger operational plans, to align with Sprout’s Group requirements --- QUALIFICATIONS: - 3-5 years of professional experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, or transaction advisory roles (e.g., Big-4 firms or globally affiliated firms)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience); CFA, CPA, or MBA a plus but not required
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining three-statement and driver-based financial models
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; familiarity with BI tools and ERP or planning systems preferred but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to distill complex analyses into clear narratives for executive and board audiences
  • Proven ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders and influence decision-making without direct authority
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable insights
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast- paced environment
  • Good grasp of SaaS metrics and unit economics
  • Understanding of SaaS business models, recurring revenue dynamics, and growth-stage operating metrics
  • Experience supporting fundraising, investor relations, or M&A transactions (Optional)
