Database Developer

Everforth ECS is hiring for a Database Developer to support its work in O'Fallon, IL.

Position Summary

The Database Developer supports and sustains an operational database environment used by a worldwide user base. The role covers database support, SQL development, Trouble Ticket analysis, patch preparation, performance analysis, and secure, compliant operations across production, training, testing and development environments supporting a suite of mission critical software applications .

Key Responsibilities

Provide Level 2 and Level 3 database support, resolving issues quickly to minimize impact on the global user base. Develop and test operational patches for deployment to live databases around the world. Capture all database actions in procedures and scripts so they can be reused to sustain the operational database. Analyze both performance and database structure.

Monitor compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and all requirements for protecting Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Support the Continuous Learning Environment by monitoring performance, loading relevant data for training scenarios, and performing other support functions. Help ensure the training environment accurately simulates the production environment.

Work with the database team and other stakeholders to support a worldwide user base.
