Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist: In Home

DUTIES

• Conduct patient assessments to determine speech and language disorders using the Developmental Assessment of Young Children Second Edition (DAYC-2) and Bayley Scales of Infant Development 4th Edition (BAYLEY-4)
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
• Provide direct speech therapy services to patients (in-home) with various communication disorders
• Travel to patient home to conduct sessions
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Monitor and document patient progress using EMR system and adjust treatment plans as needed via evaluation
• Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies QUALIFICATIONS
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid California state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology -1 year minimum experience working with pediatrics is preferred
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language function
• Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team -Position is open to full time/part time candidates SKILLS
