About the role
Working within our purpose-built facility, our Quality Control Inspectors perform a vital role in our business to help us inspect electronic components from our customers and suppliers for quality and potential counterfeit items. Progression within our company is encouraged and all our staff undergo a high level of training to help them in their jobs and future development.
With more than 60 staff and growing, we offer a spacious lunch/break room with snacks and beverages provided daily, ample parking, and provide an overall great working atmosphere. Within the role of the Quality Control Inspector you will be: Undertaking visual inspections of electronic components Using state-of-the-art test equipment to perform detailed visual inspections Researching component information in order to compare components with data sheet specifications Counting and sorting electronic components Verifying all customer requirements are being met Performing light inventory duties Cross training for Value Added Services (Bake and Seal, Tape & Reel, Etc.)

Components are stored within our warehouse and you will be required to undertake some light lifting (up to 40 lbs) and climb ladders (up to10 ft). Ability to work in a ESD and FOD Lab controlled environment. About SMT, Corp.
