Certified Nurse Aide

Job Details: Salary Range: $18.00, A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing essential support to medical staff and delivering personal care to patients.

Key responsibilities include

• Assisting with daily living activities: Helping patients with bathing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Monitoring vital signs: Measuring and recording patients' vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature.
• Maintaining a clean environment: Ensuring a safe and hygienic patient environment to promote well-being.
• Supporting medical staff: Assisting nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering care.
• Communicating with patients: Providing emotional support and companionship to patients.

Qualifications

• Medical knowledge of infection control and anatomy
• Experience with ADL assistance
• Active listening and empathy skills to understand and advocate for patients’ needs
• Strong recordkeeping skills to support accurate, timely medical record documentation
• Basic first aid skills and wound care
• CPR certification
• Ability to operate equipment to take vital signs, move patients or conduct other basic care tasks
