Security Officer 1

Franciscan Health Crawfordsville Campus 1710 Lafayette Rd Crawfordsville, Indiana 47933 The Security Officer I observes, detects, responds to, and reports suspicious and/or unusual incidents, such as security breaches, facility, and safety hazards, and emergency situations, to prevent any unlawful, unauthorized, unsafe or disruptive activity.

This position, also, maintains a safe and secure environment for all staff, patients, and visitors by monitoring CCTV system, conducting internal and external patrols. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT De-escalates situations involving agitated or aggressive persons using established principles in deescalation, including potential application of physical restraints, to prevent safety hazards. Directs persons coming into the facility to obtain proper visitor passes and assists with directions; answers visitor's questions such as locations of various offices, rooms, and other areas.

Observes, detects, responds to, and reports suspicious and unusual incidents such as security breaches, facility, and safety hazards, and emergencies, to prevent any unlawful, unauthorized, unsafe or disruptive activity. Communicate security status, updates, and actual or potential problems, using established protocols.

Maintains a safe and secure environment for all staff, patients, and visitors by monitoring CCTV Franciscan Alliance, conducting internal and external patrols and following established Franciscan Alliance protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS
