As a Tax Advisory Consultant , you'll be at the heart of our tax team, working directly with managers and directors to give clients clear, proactive advice that makes a real difference.

No two days look the same, and you'll have the support and room to grow your own client portfolio. You'll: Deliver practical, commercial tax advice to owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs and private clients, from corporation tax and VAT to capital gains, inheritance tax and succession planning Spot opportunities and risks for clients, turning technical tax rules into clear, plain English recommendations they can act on Plan and lead advisory projects such as business sales, restructures, share schemes and extractions of profit, from first conversation to final report Work alongside managers, directors and colleagues across the group to bring in specialist input, including R&D, capital allowances and corporate finance Build long-lasting relationships and become the trusted go-to for your clients, getting under the skin of their business and personal goals Review and sign off tax computations and returns, supporting compliance colleagues where needed Coach and develop trainees, and keep up to date with legislative change so our advice stays ahead of the curve Hungry for a new challenge, you'll: Hold ACA, ACCA, CTA or ATT qualifications, or be part-qualified and working towards them Have solid experience in a tax advisory role within an accountancy or professional services firm Bring strong technical knowledge across a range of taxes, with a particular interest in owner-managed business and private client work Communicate brilliantly, explaining complex points simply to clients and colleagues alike Be confident managing your own workload and deadlines, with a keen eye for detail Enjoy working as part of a team and sharing knowledge with the people around you Have a curious, innovative mindset and a passion for finding the best solution for every client Here’s a few reasons to come and join us, but you’ll find loads more once you get your feet under the table: Competitive salary Generous holiday allowance Flexible hybrid working Tailored learning and development Company pension Health MOTs A fully loaded wellbeing, social & community calendar.
