General Counsel

Kogan.com is seeking a General Counsel to lead the legal, regulatory and governance function across the Kogan Group. This is a hands-on, high-impact role and we are looking for a commercially minded legal leader who can give sharp, practical advice at pace and act as a trusted partner to the business. This is the perfect next step for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel, Head of Legal, or Deputy General Counsel who has built a strong track record in-house and is ready to step up into a broader leadership mandate as the principal legal advisor to an ASX-listed business.

Working closely with the Directors of the business, you’ll be the principal responsible for compliance, regulatory advice and contract review across the Group. You’ll liaise with external counsel on regulatory matters, partner with external counsel and our internal marketing and partnerships teams to review marketing material, oversee company secretarial matters, and support M&A activity as opportunities arise.

We are seeking a General Counsel who doesn’t just advise from the sidelines, but who gets close to the commercial detail, and helps us move quickly while managing risk sensibly.
