As an Assistant General Manager , you’ll step into a hands-on leadership role right alongside your General Manager, helping run a high-performing restaurant, coaching your team, and keeping hospitality and operations strong shift after shift.

This role is a launchpad: you’ll report to your General Manager, lead the floor and the team during your shifts, and build the experience to grow into a GM role, Area/District leadership, or a position at our Restaurant Support Center. We build leaders from within at every level: Shift Leader → AGM → GM → Bench GM and beyond.

Why You’ll Love Working at Luna Grill Target annual rate (DOE) $64K-$74K + guaranteed Overtime (50-hour workweek) (compensation varies by region and market) Plus: Quarterly Bonus Opportunities Medical, Dental and Vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off, Paid Holidays and Sick leave Career Advancement Opportunities Employee Referral Bonuses What You’ll Do Support daily operations including opening, peak service, and closing procedures Work in BOH weekly and as needed; fully cross-trained in all BOH positions Manage schedules, breaks, and team coverage to optimize service and labor Ensure food quality, safety, cleanliness, and presentation meet Luna Grill standards Coach, train, and develop team members through feedback and performance guidance Assist with payroll, scheduling, inventory, ordering, and operational reporting Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and company policies Address guest concerns promptly and professionally with a hospitality-first mindset Assist the GM with labor and food cost control Participate in hiring, promotions, transfers, and terminations Communicate company updates and operational expectations clearly to the team Serve as Manager on Duty when the GM is absent What We’re Looking For 3–5 years of restaurant management experience (high-volume or fast-casual) required High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred Strong leadership, coaching, and people-development skills Excellent guest service and problem-solving abilities Detail-oriented, organized, and calm under pressure Solid understanding of FOH & BOH operations Tech-savvy with POS systems, KDS, Dayforce, and Microsoft Office Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays Who We Are We are Lunatics — driven by culture, standards, and teamwork, where people come first.

You will not just be supporting the GM. You will be running the restaurant as Manager on Duty, working in both the front and back of house each week, and learning how labor, food cost, and people decisions come together, which is the experience that gets you ready to run your own restaurant.
