Process Relief Operator

We are looking for a PROCESS RELIEF OPERATOR to join our Midlothian, TX location. As a Process Relief Operator with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will relieve all operators in all phases of production: Mill Operator I, Mill Operator II, Process Attendants (Mill, Kilns, & Roller Mills), Scrubber & RTO, Process Assistant, and Dust Hauler Why apply?

About the Role

Ability to operate air lance, jackhammer, shovel, hoe, pry bar, wheelbarrow, broom and hand tools. Ability to operate skid steer loader, forklift and tractor-trailer rigs. Must have a willingness and ability to learn new tasks and operate with considerable focus on safety. Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English (meetings, telephone, & radio) preferred.

Work a rotating shift. Must be a self-starter able to work with little or no supervision. Maintain a positive work attitude. Ability to perform minor maintenance. Must have good attendance. Ability to reason through operational issues as they arise and resolve them or communicate with others. Knowledge of hazards associated with areas of responsibilities.

Excellent work and safety record. Understanding of Lockout/Tagout procedures.
