Position Director – Insurtech Partnerships Location Mumbai / Bangalore Reporting to Head of Partnerships Function Insurtech Partnerships Requirements What You'll Do

• Own and evolve ekincare's end-to-end GTM strategy for the Insurtech vertical — health insurers, health insurance platforms, and Insur. Tech companies
• Lead identification, pitching, and closing of large, strategic partnerships with health insurers, Insur. Tech startups, health-focused TPAs, insurance aggregators, and web-aggregators (Policybazaar, Coverfox, etc.)
• Drive co-branded / embedded health benefit programmes integrated within insurance products (top-up, OPD, critical illness riders, wellness rewards) at scale
• Position ekincare's health intelligence and engagement data as a differentiated asset for insurer underwriting and claims intelligence, shaping the narrative at CXO level
• Lead design and negotiation of bundled offering structures and commercial models — revenue share, PMPM, co-distribution fees, white-label arrangements — for large, complex deals
• Own the full deal lifecycle end-to-end: identify → pitch → LOI → commercial negotiation → contract → launch → scale
• Build and present ROI models and business cases to CXO stakeholders, demonstrating health engagement impact on claims ratios
• Own the overall insurer / insurtech partner portfolio — driving renewals, upsells, and wallet-share expansion across accounts
• Build and lead a high-performing Insurtech Partnerships team, mentoring managers and senior managers within the function
• Partner with Product, Tech, and Ops leadership to shape insurer-specific integrations (policy data, claims feeds, wellness APIs)
• Serve as ekincare's internal expert on IRDAI regulations and emerging insurtech guidelines relevant to embedded health benefits and data sharing
• Own revenue targets and pipeline predictability for the Insurtech vertical, with accurate stage-wise forecasting
• Report on pipeline health, conversion rates, and MRR contribution directly to the Head of Partnerships / leadership team What We're Looking For
• 9–12 years of experience in Strategic Partnerships / Strategic Alliances, built specifically on the insurer / insurtech side — i.e. within a general insurance, health insurance, or insurtech company, not only on the distributor (bank/NBFC/broker) side
• Proven track record of building and managing bancassurance and channel partnerships — tying up with banks, NBFCs, aggregators, and digital platforms from the insurer's side, and running these relationships end-to-end
• Experience operating within a fast-scaling insurtech environment, comfortable with digital-first, data-led partner engagement and rapid GTM cycles
• Track record of progressing within a strategic partnerships function (e.g. Senior Manager to AVP-level ownership) with increasing scope and account ownership
• Prior experience building or scaling a partnerships function; team leadership or mentoring experience preferred
• Deep understanding of India's insurance distribution landscape from the insurer's side: bancassurance, brokers, agents, TPAs, aggregators, and digital platforms
• Strong command of IRDAI regulations around health insurance, bancassurance guidelines, OPD benefits, and wellness riders
• Understanding of health data, claims analytics, and risk-based underwriting concepts
• Sharp awareness of Insur. Tech trends: embedded insurance, usage-based models, preventive health incentives Benefits
