Assistant Manager

Assistant Manager | Full Time | Onsite About the Role Work side by side with the Store Manager to run daily operations, build your team, and drive results. This is a hands-on leadership role with real responsibility and a clear path to Store Manager. What You'll Do- Supervise and coach crew members and shift leads Help onboard and train new team members Manage daily operations, including food prep, inventory, and ordering Ensure compliance with Subway brand standards, food safety, and sanitation requirements Support scheduling and handle cash management Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally Step in as acting manager when the General Manager is out Help drive sales, control food costs, and hit store targets Give clear performance feedback and hold team members accountable Keep the restaurant safe, clean, and welcoming for customers and staff What We're Looking For- 1+ year of supervisory experience in food service or retail (preferred) Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to lead by example and hold others accountable Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills, including scheduling software, email, and reporting Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays Must be 18 or older Perks- Competitive pay Paid training and development Flexible scheduling Free meals on shift Employee discount Growth path to Store Manager Equal Opportunity Employment Subway is an equal opportunity employer.
