What will your role be?

As a Press Operatorwithin Bradken Lima (Linings S.A.)’s Production team, you will take on a skilled, committed role in our fabrication shop. In this role, you willperform rubber liner pressingin line with currentcodes, specifications, and standards, ensuring work is carried outsafely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform all press activitiesrequired by the area lead, according towork orders.
  • Laminate rubber on the mill and prepare mixes as needed to execute pressing.
  • Communicate and work closely with Quality Control, Safety, and Maintenance.
  • Support general workshop requirementsand maintainorder and cleanliness (5S) in your work area.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with companylabor practicesandhealth, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum education: High school.
  • Employment certificate in a similar role.
  • At least 1 yearof experience as aPress Operator.
  • Desirable:knowledge ofliner modelsto be pressed andrubber milling/lamination.
  • Ability to read and interpret 2D/3D drawings.
  • Knowledge of materials, metrology, calculations, and quality control.
  • Ability to operate power tools (grinder, angle grinder, etc.).

Skills & competencies:

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret technical information or instructions.
  • Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Effective teamwork, with a strong work ethic, organization, planning, and attention to detail.
