Advanced Maintenance Technician - Residential Properties

( www.opminc.com ), based in Century City, CA, is a full-service property management company known for its high standards, professionalism, and growth opportunities is seeking a full-time Advanced Maintenance Technician to assist with minor renovations and tenant repairs at various properties in Los Angeles.

In addition, you will receive mileage reimbursement every payday Requirements Skills: Perform advanced maintenance and repair across multiple trades, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, flooring, and painting.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve maintenance issues promptly and effectively. Lead and assist maintenance staff on complex projects and ensure work is completed to code and company standards. Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections on building systems and equipment. Coordinate with property managers and vendors for specialized repairs, installations, or major projects.

Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across all work sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety guidelines. Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation to visit various job sites Proficient in English and authorized to work in the US Qualifications: Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in building maintenance, property management, or related trades.

Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to interact professionally with residents, staff, and vendors. Valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record required.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied environments (indoor/outdoor, heights, confined spaces).

Compensation
