Operations Assistant (Guyana National Only)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth coordination of shipping operations, maintaining data accuracy, supporting financial processes, and adhering to health, safety, and quality standards. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to continuous learning and cross-training.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate customer requirements with service providers and manage clearance documentation. Respond promptly to communications and provide consistent updates until task completion. Accurately enter and update data in operational systems, ensuring compliance with KPIs. Manage supplier and customer invoices, supporting the finance team with related queries.

Provide administrative support, including preparing payment documents and managing supplies. Participate in mandatory cross-training for professional growth. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Support additional projects and tasks as assigned by management. Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, logistics, or a related field preferred.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficient in data entry and familiar with operational software systems. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
