Clinical Scribe

Description The clinic scribe will work closely with providers in our ophthalmology clinic accompanying physicians/optometrists during patient visits and documenting the assessment and exam. Appropriate documentation of patient history, physical exams, assessments, diagnostic results, and follow-up instructions is essential.

Navigate the electronic medical record. Review of patient charts to facilitate medical decisions by the physician. This position is full time. Monday-Friday 8a-5p. No weekends or holidays. Requirements

General knowledge and understanding of anatomy, the diagnosis process, and pharmacology. Basic computer knowledge and navigation of an EMR system. Current BLS and Mandatory Reporters Certification.
