Job description

Stateline Animal Clinic is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Assistant / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.

One to two days per week, you'll transition to the front desk, where you'll manage appointments and patient flow, answer multi-line phones, process transactions, and assist clients with information about our services for both small and large animal patients.

Stateline Animal Clinic is always growing, and we're looking for team members who want to grow with us! If you're eager to learn, passionate about animal care, and excited to gain experience in both the clinical and client service sides of veterinary medicine, we'd love to meet you.

  • Bonus package: Up to $500 depending on experience
  • Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life insurance and disability
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • 401k with company match
  • Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law
  • Personal pet discount

*Part-time team members may be eligible for limited benefits in accordance with company policy and state law

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

  • 1+ years of experience in a veterinary assistant or veterinary reception role

  • Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred

  • Proficiency in the following skills:

  • Safe, gentle patient handling and restraint for dogs, cats, and large animal patients

  • Client communication and education, including treatment plan review and discharge instructions

  • Accurate medical record keeping and treatment documentation

  • Ability to manage a multi-line phone system while assisting in-person clients
