Contract Specialist

Contract Specialist Location: On-site/Office Compensation: 75k-80k annual Clearance: Secret The Contract Specialist will manage full-lifecycle contract financials, compliance, and reporting across our portfolio of government and prime contracts.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Entry and tracking of labor budgets via Project Labor Codes (PLCs).
• Tracking employee time charges daily to ensure correct PLCs are being used.
• Ensuring contract expenses do not exceed contract funded and ceiling amounts.
• Issuance of Limitation of Funds correspondence to the government and prime contractors.
• Issuance of delivery orders/task orders, purchase orders to subcontractors.
• Receive, review, and process incoming contract modifications from the government and prime contractors.
• Support semi-monthly and monthly invoicing to include prompt preparation and submission of T&M, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and other company awarded contracts.
• Support preparation of monthly reports, particularly the financial sections.
• Coordinate with employees and government/Prime contractor POCs to obtain travel approvals.
• Prepare annual contract variance invoices.
• Support contract close outs. Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, supply chain, or accounting.
• Five to seven years of related project control or contract administration experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cost-plus fixed fee (CPFF), time & material (T&M)/Labor hour (LH), and firm fixed price (FFP) contracts.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel. Desired Qualifications
• Direct hands-on experience using Deltek Costpoint.
