This role leads video production across our portfolio—from hospitality and residential to retail, events, and guest experiences.
The Creative Videographer will develop concepts, film on location, direct talent when needed, and shape raw footage into polished stories that capture the energy, detail, and character of each experience. We’re looking for a visual storyteller with strong filmmaking instincts, a refined creative point of view, and the technical expertise to produce work that feels cinematic, current, and aligned with the standards of a luxury brand.
What You Do: (Duties/Responsibilities) Filmmaking & Visual Storytelling Concept, film, and edit high-quality video content across Turnberry properties, including brand films, property features, guest experiences, events, openings, interviews, and social-first content. Use cinematic composition, camera movement, lighting, sound, pacing, and editing to create emotionally engaging visual stories.
Translate creative briefs, campaigns, and brand priorities into clear video concepts, treatments, shot lists, and storyboards. Direct on-camera talent, associates, guests, and partners as needed to capture natural, authentic performances. Capture supplemental photography and behind-the-scenes content when needed to support campaigns and social channels.
Attend events, openings, activations, and special moments outside traditional office hours when needed to document key experiences. Creative Development & Brand Storytelling Partner with creative, marketing, and property teams to uncover stories and develop video concepts that reflect the personality of each brand. Contribute ideas during campaign development and pre-production, helping define narrative approach, visual style, locations, talent, and production needs.
Balance cinematic storytelling with platform-native formats for Instagram, Tik. Tok, Reels, Stories, websites, digital campaigns, and internal presentations. Stay current on filmmaking techniques, editing styles, equipment, social formats, and visual trends while maintaining a timeless luxury aesthetic. Production, Post-Production & Asset Management Manage video projects from pre-production through final delivery, including scheduling, equipment preparation, filming, editing, color correction, sound design, motion graphics, and versioning.
Edit long-form and short-form content to established timelines while maintaining a high creative and technical standard. Prepare videos in the appropriate aspect ratios, lengths, and specifications for each channel and audience. Organize raw footage, project files, music licenses, releases, and final assets using consistent naming conventions and metadata.
Maintain production equipment and recommend tools, technology, or resources that strengthen the quality and efficiency of video production. This job description does not imply that the listed duties are the only responsibilities to be performed by the employee in this position. Employees may be required to carry out other job-related tasks assigned by their supervisor or management.
What You Bring to the Table: (Requirements) 3–5+ years of professional experience in videography, filmmaking, video production, or a similar creative role. A strong reel or portfolio demonstrating cinematic storytelling, camera work, editing, sound, pacing, and a distinctive creative point of view. Advanced proficiency with professional cameras, lenses, lighting, stabilization, audio equipment, and on-location production workflows.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Da. Vinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or comparable editing and color-grading platforms. Strong understanding of narrative structure, visual composition, lighting, sound design, color, music selection, and post-production. Ability to develop creative concepts and translate them into treatments, storyboards, shot lists, and finished films.
Strong judgment and an understanding of what feels appropriate for luxury brands and discerning audiences. Highly organized, collaborative, and able to independently manage multiple productions and deadlines. Ability to work on-site, travel to Turnberry properties, and occasionally work evenings, weekends, and holidays for events and activations.
The Right Person You think like a filmmaker and see every property, event, and guest experience as an opportunity to tell a story. You notice the details others miss, can shape a narrative from concept through final cut, and know how to create work that feels cinematic, polished, and true to the brand.
