Technical Superintendent- (Portugal)

Technical Superintendent Requirements• Relevant marine engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent technical qualification/experience.• Previous experience in marine engineering, vessel technical management or a Technical Superintendent role.• Strong knowledge of vessel maintenance and engineering systems.• Passenger vessel or river cruise experience is highly desirable.

• Strong technical problem-solving and organisational skills.• Ability to travel to vessels and operational locations as required.• Portuguese and English language skills mandatory.Role and Responsibilities• Represent the company values and visions• Ensure a professional and courteous service while managing the daily operations• Implement and maintain company standards and operating procedures• Oversee the technical condition and performance of assigned vessels.

• Coordinate planned, preventative and corrective maintenance.• Monitor technical defects and ensure timely resolution.• Support vessel inspections, certification and technical compliance.• Coordinate contractors, suppliers and specialist service providers.• Support dry-dock, repair and maintenance projects.• Maintain appropriate technical documentation and records.

• Support technical budgeting and cost control.• Provide technical support to Captains and onboard teams.• Work closely with Nautical and Operations teams to minimise operational disruption
