We are currently seeking a full-time Audio Visual Lighting Technician II (L2) to work at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO.

We will consider applicants with experience in Event Technology who wish to pursue a career in lighting in a live events environment, working with stage lighting fixtures, dimming, and console programming. The compensation for this Audio Visual Lighting Technician II position is between $24.00-27.00 depending on experience. Summary of essential job functions Shows & Events: � Lighting fixture setup and focus, Electrical and dimmer controls, Lighting Console programming and operation. � Rigging safety knowledge for lighting equipment � Strong computer skills � CAD or Vectorworks a plus � General Audio, Lighting, Rigging, D�cor, Staging abilities & knowledge � Pull Equipment, load-in, set up, operate, Take Down, Load Out & Shop duties � Warehouse & Equipment Responsibilities � Other duties as assigned Other Qualifications: � Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED; some college preferred.

� Excellent customer service skills proven through demonstrated ability to interact well with clients, both internal and external. � Maintain a professional image in compliance with the company's appearance/dress code. � Must have a clean driving record. � Must be able to accommodate a flexible and short-notice work schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

� Must be able to lift 75 lbs. The ideal candidate: � Will have experience in the Event Technology field working in a hotel/convention center environment. � Demonstrates an interest in pursuing a career in live events through relevant work or volunteer experience, or education in an Event Technology field. � Must have basic knowledge of live event stage lighting and the ability to learn and master new equipment and systems.

� Must possess excellent customer service skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, be well organized, have a professional demeanor, and be efficient in the use of time management.
