Plant Operations Coordinator

The Plant Operations Coordinator is a hands-on manufacturing professional who works directly on the production floor to support fabrication, equipment operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and workflow coordination. This role is focused on keeping production running efficiently by solving problems, supporting the workforce, and ensuring safe, high-quality operations every day.

Responsibilities

Maintain continuous workflow by keeping fabrication and processing moving at the projected pace Provide support with any technical issues, including but not limited to resolving issues with drawings, machinery, layout, fabrication processes, and material handling Ensure that all QA/QC requirements are satisfied Coordinate materials to be properly aligned with job plans Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree Minimum one year of manufacturing experience, preferred Must have experience in MS Excel, and MS Word Strong written and oral communication skills Strong organizational skills required Salary $70,000 - $76,750 Dependent upon experience Benefits/Perks: Health, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, and a 401k Match Program Paid Time Off About GMF Steel Group: GMF Steel Group is an Inc 5000 company and one of the fastest growing Steel firms in the Southeastern US.
