The NPDP is a registered nurse (RN) with NPD practice judgement and expertise who influences professional role competence and growth of learners in a variety of settings with a desired outcome of improved population health. 1. EDUCATION:

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.
• BSN required.
• Master's degree in nursing education preferred.
• Certification in clinical practice/specialty practice preferred.
• Certification in clinical practice/specialty practice preferred. For Central NPDPs: BSN Required Nursing Professional Development Board Certification required or is currently eligible to sit for this certification. 2 years in a department-based (unit or clinic) nursing professional development practitioner role is strongly preferred. EXPERIENCE:
• Experience as a clinical preceptor required.
• 5 years of nursing experience required.
• 5 years of nursing experience in the applicable clinical specialty strongly preferred. This is a bargaining union position.
