Summary Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing patient care in accordance with established standards and skill competency. # Minimum Qualifications Must possess a current license or a temporary practice permit to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Appropriate clinical experience with a thorough knowledge of the scientific principles of nursing and professional nursing standards, developed skill in delivering nursing care, and the ability to adapt to individual needs. A fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system.

The ability to successfully complete a competency-based orientation and annual competency testing of skills and/or knowledge necessary to provide care to specific patient populations. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. # Preferred Qualifications One to three years of clinical experience in obstetrics/gynecology, or a related field.

Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP). Bachelor#s degree in Nursing. Previous Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or Level 2 Nursery experience.
