Job description
Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Clerk
Full-Time, In-office, must be willing to commute to Lafayette, Colorado.
About EOI Space
EOI Space is building a next-generation satellite constellation in Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO) to deliver the highest-resolution Earth imagery available from space. Flying lower than traditional satellites lets us capture sharper, more timely data, giving commercial and defense customers a clearer picture of a rapidly changing world, faster than ever before.
Based in Lafayette, Colorado, we’re a small, mission-driven team moving fast to bring this capability to market. As we scale toward Series B and beyond, we’re looking for people who want real ownership over their function and see the undefined parts of this stage as the opportunity, not the obstacle.
About the Role
We’re working toward a number of industry firsts, and that takes a team willing to dig into hard problems, get hands-on, and work well together. EOI Space is looking for a Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Clerk to keep materials, components, and equipment moving accurately and on time as we scale from development into production. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will receive and inspect incoming shipments, prepare outbound domestic and international shipments, and maintain inventory accuracy in our tracking systems.
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and detail-oriented, comfortable prioritizing in a fast-paced environment where processes are still evolving, and takes pride in a stockroom the production floor can count on.
The Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely movement and tracking of materials, components, and equipment. You will receive and inspect incoming shipments, stage and ship outgoing packages, and maintain inventory accuracy in our tracking systems.
This position directly supports build schedules and keeps the production floor supplied. - Maintain an organized, clean, and safe stockroom and receiving area.
- Handle hazardous or controlled materials as needed per established procedures.
- Coordinate couriers, freight carriers, and shipping documentation.
- Support the implementation and improvement of inventory and warehouse processes and systems.
- Follow all safety, quality, and export-compliance procedures.
- Additional duties as assigned

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or move for extended periods.
- Dependable, organized, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow established processes and safety procedures.
- Authorized to work as a U.S. Person.
Highly Preferred:
- Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, electronics, or another hardware environment.
- Familiarity with ESD handling and controlled or hazardous material procedures.
- Exposure to ITAR/EAR export-compliance requirements.
- Forklift certification.
- Experience with cycle counting and inventory control best practices.
- Passion for building and cultivating positive relationships with team members and external vendors.
