Senior HVAC Technician

What we ask of you:

• Building Operations: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all assigned properties, including building operations, commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, preventive maintenance schedules, energy management systems, and equipment status.
• Advanced HVAC Maintenance & Repair: Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Operate and optimize equipment within design capabilities to achieve proper environmental conditions, maximize performance, and minimize operating costs.
• Building Automation & Work Order Management: Monitor and adjust building automation and energy management systems to improve equipment performance and energy efficiency. Maintain accurate service reports, equipment histories, work order documentation, and status updates through the computerized work order system.
• Technical Leadership, Communication & Professionalism: Serve as a technical resource by mentoring HVAC technicians and maintenance staff, sharing troubleshooting best practices, and supporting equipment replacements, upgrades, and capital projects. Communicate effectively with Property Managers, Supervisors, contractors, and vendors while maintaining a professional demeanor. Desired experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Technical or trade school training in HVAC, refrigeration, or a related field, preferred.
• 7+ years of commercial HVAC experience, required.
• EPA Universal Certification, required; NATE, HVAC Excellence, or equivalent certification, preferred.
