RES PT Cleaner

ROCORI Richmond Elem. Cleaner Class B, School year, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm Reports to: Head Custodian Department: Custodial Works with: Teachers, students, parents Job Summary: The cleaner performs general cleaning to provide pleasant surrounds for staff and students. Duties/Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Cleans assigned area.

Floors-vacuums, mops, and scrubs. Bathrooms-clean and scrub daily. Walls and Boards-Clean and scrub as needed. Clean Desks and Furniture. Windows Exterior-Room and Building exterior, clean as needed. Empty garbage. Assists parents and other visitors to school buildings with special events and programs. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements: Minimum HS diploma required Effective interpersonal skills to communicate with school personnel, students, parents and members of the community. Strong organizational and planning skills. Physical Job Requirements: Employee is continuously required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel, talk, and hear; frequently sits, stoops, kneels and/or crouches, reach with hands and arms in the performance of the job.

Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally; and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
