Join Our Team as a Mental Health Support Worker Location: Shipley Lodge – Heanor, Derbyshire Role: Part-time, 17.5 hours per week, 24/7 Service, Shifts on a rota basis Additional Enhanced Payments: £0.86
- Unsocial Hours, 1.5 x hourly rate
- Bank Holiday *Full-time equivalent salary - £24,545 per annum (Pro-rata for Part-time hours) Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for an experienced and caring Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our dedicated team at Shipley Lodge – a CQC Registered home supporting individuals with severe and enduring mental health challenges. Our Shipley Lodge Service is a sixteen bed, single-level facility for both male and female clients, offering a clean and comfortable environment that supports recovery and independence. At Shipley Lodge , we provide more than just accommodation – we offer support with daily living skills, personal care, finances, and rehabilitation, while encouraging engagement with the local community. How you will make a difference? Help individuals rebuild confidence and independence Support service users in achieving personal goals Provide one-to-one guidance and work alongside mental health agencies Build respectful, honest relationships while maintaining professional boundaries What we’re looking for: Experience supporting people with mental illness in social care setting Great listening skills, empathy, patience, and kindness Ability to work with digital systems (Microsoft applications, email, internet) A commitment to our values and willingness to learn If you have transferable skills and a passion for helping others, we’d love to hear from you!
