Maintenance Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the maintenance team, setting clear objectives and driving performance, engagement, and capability development. Ensure high equipment reliability and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) across packaging operations. Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans for: Tin can manufacturing equipment PET bottle manufacturing lines Filling, labeling, and end-of-line packaging equipment Manage maintenance activities for multiple packaging, bottling, and pouch production lines to support production targets.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, quality enhancement, and cost optimization. Ensure spare parts availability and effective maintenance planning to minimize production interruptions. Lead packaging-related projects from planning through implementation while achieving agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and maintenance standards and regulations. Develop team capabilities, coach employees, and build succession pipelines within the department. Manage departmental budgets and monitor maintenance costs to drive sustainable performance improvements.

Qualifications

& Experience Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering 4-6 years of relevant experience in packaging maintenance, including experience in leadership or supervisory roles. Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices, reliability-centered maintenance, and equipment performance optimization. Experience in FMCG manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
