Key Responsibilities

Securely loading goods onto trucks for delivery and unloading incoming shipments Material Handling: Safely moving, organizing, and storing various materials and products using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Inventory Management: Cataloging, tracking, and documenting inventory levels, ensuring accurate records and processing returns.

Order Fulfillment: Retrieving items from shelves and packaging them for shipment as orders are placed. Quality Control: Performing basic checks on items to ensure quality and accuracy before they are shipped or stored. Record Keeping: Documenting deliveries, transactions, and inventory status, often using warehouse management software.

Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety guidelines and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

Required Skills

Experience operating a Crown stand-up forklift. Inventory Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for managing inventory effectively. Physical Stamina: The ability to lift heavy items and perform repetitive tasks is essential. Teamwork & Communication: Working effectively as part of a team and communicating with supervisors and colleagues.

Technical Skills: Basic computer skills for managing inventory records and using warehouse software. Pace: The work environment is often fast paced, demanding, and physically demanding, requiring stamina and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
