2026-2027 Substitute Cafe Worker

Pay Rate: $11 per hour 7 or 8 hours (unpaid meal break) Primary Purpose: Prepare and serve appropriate quantities of food to meet menu requirements. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and safety practices.

Qualifications

Education/Certification: Texas Department of State Health Services Food Handler Certification must be obtained prior to the employee's first scheduled shift in a kitchen. Employees are expected to complete certification within two weeks of hire. Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to work at a fast pace for duration of shift Ability to lift 30 lbs.
