Banquets House Attendant

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the general guidance of the Director of Food and Beverage, prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests courteously and efficiently according to hotel restaurant, lounge, and banquet standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Prepare beverages for guests in a timely manner and up to hotel standards. Ensure consistent beverage preparation, presentation and quality Exercise good judgments in determining potentially intoxicated guests Maintain good coordination while preparing and serving orders quickly Interact with guests and patrons Ensure all working areas are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition at all times Understand the operational set up and principle of the restaurant or lounge Maintain knowledge of all menus within the hotel Maintain stock and supplies of the banquet bar QUALIFICATIONS: High school or equivalent education required.

Two years experience as Banquet Bartender in full service restaurant or hotel is required. Customer service experience preferred. Must be minimum age to serve alcohol.
