Rigger

Description We are seeking a dependable Rigger to join our team. In this role, you will assist with the safe lifting, moving, positioning, and securing of heavy equipment and materials at industrial and construction sites. The ideal candidate has experience with rigging operations, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work as a team.

Rigging experience and OSHA knowledge is preferred, but training will be provided to motivated candidates with relevant work history.

Responsibilities

Safely signal and communicate with crane operators and other team members during lifting operations Attach, secure, and inspect rigging equipment including slings, cables, chains, hooks, and lifting devices Select appropriate rigging gear based on load weight, size, and lifting requirements Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment at project sites Guide, position, and maneuver suspended loads safely around obstacles and into designated locations Install and remove rigging equipment, hoists, pulleys, and support structures Inspect rigging equipment before use and report and defects or safety concerns Qualifications: Previous rigging experience in industrial, construction, manufacturing, or heavy-equipment environments preferred Experience in the general construction field, especially involving heavy equipment preferred Welding experience is a plus Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical work in outdoor environment High school diploma or GED Ability to pass drug screen and background check Benefits: Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Company paid life insurance 401k PTO and holiday pay Opportunities for career advancement
