Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer Contingent upon prime contractor approval Purpose: Valkyrie Enterprises has need for a Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer in Huntsville, AL working in the Targets and Countermeasures program office. In this role you will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Architecture Validation team as an Architecture Assessment Engineer by developing and enhancing the Qlik.

Sense-based Capability Gap Tracker tool. Job Description: Deliver direct support to the Architecture Validation Team within MDA's Chief Architect's Office. Assist in the development and management of the Qlik. Sense-based Capability Gap Tracker (CGT) tool, to include reviewing, updating, and organizing gaps and threat.

Develop dashboards and data visualizations within the CGT to support reporting, analysis, and architecture decision-making. Work closely with other MDA organizations to help them understand and leverage the CGT while gaining insight into elements that make up the missile defense system. Engage with cross-functional teams and Capability Gap Tracker users to identify reporting needs and deliver data-driven solutions that improve decision support capabilities.

Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field and at least 3+ years of experience supporting missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD programs/projects. Must have experience working with and analyzing large data sets. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Desired Qualifications: Active TS/SCI Clearance, preferred.

Working knowledge of Missile Defense Systems (MDS) components, architectures, concepts, and threats, with demonstrated understanding through analysis activities, preferred. Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools such as Qlik. Sense, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms, preferred. Working knowledge of Systems Engineering processes including Model-Based Systems Engineering and Digital Engineering strategies, preferred.

Experience with Digital Engineering tools and platforms such as Cameo, Palantir, or similar technologies, preferred. Security Requirements: Must have an Active Secret clearance and the ability to maintain it. Travel Requirements: Minimal Travel; 10% or less If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID.
