JDI Industrial Services is the industrial maintenance division of J. Davis Inc., a family-owned organization providing construction, grading, supplemental maintenance, and industrial services to South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina. With four divisions and five offices in the coastal and upstate regions of South Carolina, we are proud to offer superior services to the southeastern United States.

JDI Industrial Services is seeking experienced and dependable skilled trades contractors to support industrial construction, installation, maintenance, and repair projects throughout the Upstate of South Carolina and North Georgia. Our team works on a variety of industrial projects involving electrical systems, welding, piping, mechanical installations, and general industrial services.

We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, prioritize safety, and can work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform industrial electrical installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Complete welding, pipefitting, and industrial piping installation tasks. Assist with mechanical equipment installation, fabrication, and repairs. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications as required. Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

Follow project schedules, quality standards, and company safety procedures. Work collaboratively with supervisors, project managers, and other skilled trades professionals. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Travel to industrial job sites throughout the Upstate of South Carolina as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in industrial construction, electrical work, welding, piping, pipefitting, or mechanical services. Knowledge of industrial tools, equipment, and construction practices. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship. Ability to work in an industrial environment and meet the physical requirements of the position. Willingness to travel locally to project sites.

Preferred Qualifications

Industrial electrical, welding, pipefitting, or mechanical certifications. Experience working in manufacturing facilities, industrial plants or environments. Experience reading blueprints, working from technical drawings, or performing industrial installations.
