Product Designer

About the Role

Design complex software products from concept through launch, covering user experience, interaction and visual design. Use research, data and business needs to refine solutions, and partner with product and engineering teams to deliver them.

Responsibilities

Partner with product managers, engineers, user researchers and data teams throughout the design process, from concept exploration to launch, to define the problem, goals and design scope. Rapidly prototype concepts and design user flows informed by research and data; gather feedback from stakeholders and iterate continuously.

Design web product interfaces, graphics and layouts; maintain and improve the visual system, incorporating user feedback and business needs into the product. Establish a design direction when the problem is not yet well defined, weigh relevant factors, review work with other designers and coordinate design across related initiatives.

Follow implementation and launch quality, participate in technical discussions with Chinese-speaking teams, and help translate and verify technical documentation to ensure shared understanding.

Requirements

At least two years of end-to-end design experience with complex software products, covering user experience, interaction and visual design in support of business goals, with strong aesthetic sense and visual judgment. Hands-on experience with A/B testing and data-informed design, using research and data to guide product strategy and design decisions.

Proficiency with prototyping tools and strong product thinking; clear verbal and written communication, attentive listening, and the ability to explain design rationale and collaborate across teams. Experience building and maintaining design systems, launching products across teams, designing conversational AI or chatbots, or creating motion design is a plus.

Experience using AI tools to improve workflows and measure outcomes; familiarity with AI risks, bias and quality review; and an interest in continuing to learn prompt design, context engineering or agent orchestration are a plus.
