Mechanical Project Engineer - Japan

This Japanese, Tokyo based, general contractor specializes in federal, military, and civil construction projects primarily working on U.S. Government facilities in Japan. A uniquely positioned company they are experiencing rapid growth and recruiting English-speaking foreign nationals to be based on existing and future projects in Japan.

These projects include civil, marine, commercial, and federal with key employment opportunities for Mechanical Project Engineers, Mechanical Design Engineers, and Mechanical Project Managers. standards.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and have not been declined a Japanese visa, or other international visa previously
• Minimum 2-3 year commitment
• Willing to relocate to Japan

• You must have mechanical project experience with either a contractor or engineering firm
• You must have a Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural Degree.
• You will need to be able to relocate and commence employment by January 1st 2027. Successful candidates will relocate as Japanese residents under corporate visa sponsorship. Salary will be paid in Japanese YEN Visa Status: The company will sponsor your Japanese work visa. Social: You will be enrolled in the Japanese national tax, healthcare, pension, and other standard systems. Tax Status: All roles are local positions and not tax-free.
