Seabury at Pomperaug Woods | Southbury, CT Schedule: Every Weekend (Saturday & Sunday) | 12AM - 8 AM Department: Plant Services Looking for a rewarding weekend position? Seabury at Pomperaug Woods is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Security Guard to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and team members during evening hours.

What You'll Do

Conduct scheduled security rounds throughout the community, both indoors and outdoors. Monitor building entrances, doors, and windows to ensure security. Respond to emergency calls, fire alarms, and other urgent situations. Complete detailed shift reports and document incidents or unusual occurrences. Assist with safety inspections and property security.

Escort employees to and from vehicles after dark as needed. Help maintain safe walkways and entrances during inclement weather. Perform light maintenance and custodial duties as needed. Generate work orders and report maintenance concerns. Support emergency response efforts during community-wide events or weather emergencies.

What We're Looking For

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Strong observation skills and attention to detail. Excellent customer service and professionalism. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Prior security experience preferred, but not required. Ability to walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
