- Monitor, assess, and manage the clinical status of critically ill patients in the ICU or emergency critical care unit.
- Perform advanced life support procedures, including intubation, mechanical ventilation, and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient condition and diagnostic findings.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient progress, treatment responses, and interventions in electronic medical records with precision and timeliness.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and participate in code blue or critical event scenarios.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with emerging critical care practices, technologies, and evidence-based guidelines through continuous learning. --- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MBBS) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Completion of internship and mandatory medical registration with the National Medical Council (NMC).
- Strong foundational knowledge and practical exposure in critical care medicine, including ICU procedures and emergency response.
- Proficiency in using ICU monitoring equipment, ventilators, and invasive hemodynamic tools.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, high-stress environment.
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous professional development.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties as required. ---
