Gillingham Charter School is looking to hire a Certified Special Education Teacher. Who We Are : Gillingham Charter School is a Title I public school in Pottsville, PA, servicing students in many districts in the coal region, inside and outside Schuylkill County. Our little school offers Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade students a unique Relational Education based on the philosophy of Charlotte Mason.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree Valid PA educator certificate in special education issued by PDE Child Abuse, State Police, and FBI Fingerprint Clearances (Current within the last year) Excellent classroom management skills A willingness and enthusiasm to learn new methodologies A love of the outdoors Experience coordinating academically-oriented clubs and extracurricular activities Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude in a dynamic team environment Submitted resumes must have letters of recommendation and professional references included.
