Inside Sales Associate - Signature Solar

Shift: 10am-7pm Mon-Friday with a 9-2 Saturday rotation As an Inside Sales Associate for our solar company, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our solar energy solutions to residential and commercial customers. You will be responsible for engaging w ith potential clients, providing information on the benefits of solar energy, and guiding them through the sales process.

This role requires a customer-focused approach, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting sustainable and renewable energy solutions. This role may require flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate customer schedules and events. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and our company's products and services. Assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions. Demonstrate a deep understanding of our solar products and services. Effectively communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner. Conduct consultations with customers to understand their energy requirements and recommend appropriate solar solutions.

Present and explain pricing, financing options, and incentives. Actively engage in lead generation activities, including participating in events, promotions, and networking. Collaborate with marketing teams to implement lead generation strategies. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the sales process.

Provide post-sale support and address customer inquiries or concerns. Seek opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products and services. Complete sales-related paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Provide regular reports on sales activities, lead status, and achievements. All other duties assigned QUALIFICATIONS Required Experience: Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.

High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in solar energy or related fields is a plus. Preferred Background: Strong interpersonal and communication skills . Knowledge of solar energy systems and their benefits. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with CRM software is a plus. Physical Requirements Office: This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting 25+ lbs , computer work, and other physical activities.
